New Art Licensing Manager 2.0 Gives Artists a Flexible and Affordable Way to Manage their Business Data

(Portland, Oregon) October 12, 2010 – CampSoftware just released the new and improved version 2 of the Art Licensing Manager Software, created in conjunction with Tara Reed of ArtLicensingInfo.com. The software has been designed specifically for artists in the art licensing industry to help them track all aspects of their business.

The Art Licensing Manager 2.0 Software helps artists organize their Art, Collections, Contacts, Licensees, Licenses, Contracts, Royalty data and more so information can be found quickly. The Art Licensing Manager 2.0 was rewritten from the ground up to make data entry simple and accessible from several perspectives.

"After 7 years of using post it notes and multiple, cumbersome spreadsheets, I decide enough was enough - it was time to get organized. It is essential for artists to keep accurate and up-to-date records of their contracts to build a strong licensing business. The Art Licensing Manager 2.0 makes it quick and easy so I can focus on the core of my business: creating art." said Tara Reed from ArtLicensingInfo.com.

The Art Licensing Manager 2.0 can be used on a Mac, PC, iPad, and iPhone. The software is available for $299 as a single user applications including a bundled version of FileMaker Database Software for either Mac or Windows at no additional cost. A limited-use demo can be tested before purchasing the software. Artists who already own FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go will receive a separate FileMaker database to run the Art Licensing Manager 2.0.

"By leveraging FileMaker Pro, we were able to let artists choose how they access their data by offering the ability to use the Art Licensing Manager by artists with a small staff, on mobile devices, and even to companies with hundreds of artists.", said Hal Gumbert from CampSoftware.com.
