Newcomer to SURTEX

Posted on 3/13/2013 by Natasha Davis

Charlotte, NC, March 13, 2013- Denise Albright may be a new exhibitor to SURTEX, but she is no stranger to the creativity market. She has been designing art & greetings for the personalized stationery market since 1999 when she founded dinky designs. Selling her company in 2007 and taking a few years to enjoy her young family, Denise has reemerged into the design market as an art licensor with a whole new collection of eye-catching art & belly-laughing humor. Her inspiration? Rounding her fourth decade of life coupled with the aforementioned young family (i.e. two kids under three), is the perfect blend for finding the “Albright” side of life…like wining & whining while dining.

Not only will her brilliantly colorful illustrations and light-hearted humor attract you, but so will her drive to make your products successful.  “Understanding a licensee’s goals is important.  Knowing how to align my abilities with theirs to achieve those goals is when the magic really happens.  I could be the best designer in the world, but if I’m not the best partner, then my freezer door is the greatest art gallery I should expect.” says Denise.

Visit today or Booth 663 at the Surtex Show this May 19-21, 2013 to find Denise Albright art & design.

Denise Albright launched her design company from the corner desk of her kitchen in her home on Lake Norman in Charlotte, NC.  Her designs can be found on mom’s planners, greeting cards, stationery, checkbooks and gift products sold throughout the U.S.  She attributes her continued success (& inspiration) to the love & support she gets from her extraordinarily tall husband, Brent, and the adoration from her sons, Lucas (3) and Lincoln (1).
