Hampstead, NC, March 5, 2013- Printed Hues will be debuting new designs and making their first SURTEX appearance at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, May 19-21. Printed Hues will be exhibiting in booth #632 at SURTEX with new collections telling thoughtful color stories with a refined hand-drawn line quality.
Printed Hues' Laura Lobdell formerly worked in advertising and marketing as a graphic designer. She is formally trained in printmaking and graphic design. After spending nearly a decade designing ads and marketing campaigns, Laura launched Printed Hues LLC. Her designs for Printed Hues marry her technical skill in vector-based computer design with Laura's artistic sensibilities and printmaking background.
When asked about exhibiting at SURTEX, Laura expressed her excitement about meeting potential licensees: "We're aiming to spark some great, long-lasting relationships with manufacturers in a variety of product categories with our art. My approachable designs have wide appeal and with a background in marketing, I understand the importance of remaining flexible working with manufacturers, knowing that my art is there as a tool to help sell the product."
