Press Information

We’re pleased to work with media representatives – before, during and after SURTEX – providing information to meet your editorial needs and beat your deadlines.

Press Releases and Images

As press releases are emailed to the media, they will also appear on this website under Industry News.  When you need additional information, an opportunity to interview spokespeople, or images that will help you tell a more inspiring story, please let us help you.

Register to Attend SURTEX 2010
Press registration for SURTEX 2010 is now closed.  Please register onsite in the Press Center, located on the 4A Terrace.

Press Credentials
To ensure valid press coverage and representation on the exhibit floor, media representatives need current, official credentials to qualify for an editorial or advertising press badge at SURTEX.  Please click here for credential criteria.

Onsite Press Center
We maintain a fully-staffed Press Center during SURTEX, and look forward to welcoming you there. It will be your place to pick up exhibitor press kits, grab a refreshment, arrange interviews, check emails and more. Special press tours (arranged in advance) will start here. To arrange a tour, please indicate on the press registration form or simply contact us in advance of the Show.

A Thumbnail Sketch of SURTEX

  • In its 24th year, SURTEX is the only show in North America solely devoted to selling and licensing original design and art for all types of products.
  • SURTEX draws hundreds of designers from around the world to New York City where they are given the opportunity to market their collections to manufacturers of products for home, contract, stationery, giftware, automobiles, toys, publishing, and more.
  • Exhibitors and attendees come from diverse lands. In addition to the United States, 43 countries – among them United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, Israel, Italy, France, Canada and Germany – are also represented at Surtex.
  • SURTEX takes place at the Javits Center, alongside the National Stationery Show® and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair®.
